A very quick and rough wax-up to fabricate temporary crowns. Temporary crowns must be fabricated when the braces come off to prevent movement of the teeth.

After the first set of temporary crowns is placed, a more detailed wax-up can be done and better temporary crowns placed at the final impression appointment. Here, the “shell temporaries” are fabricated from the wax-up.

Crowns in place, day of delivery. We had great difficulty getting this patient to properly clean her teeth. After many years of being ashamed of her teeth, she had little motivation to clean them. Wait until you see her gums after her new crowns!
